For people who have offered to help

Friday 16 June 2017
Hello.

I've been living in my apartment for over a year, but still deal with poverty and maintaining my community and relationships. If you're interested in helping, these are items I am always looking for:

  • Gift cards to Safeway or Wal-Mart.
  • Any gift card really, just those two stores are most convenient for me.
  • Cat food, canned or dry.
  • Cat Litter.
  • My laptop is pretty run down and I can't see chunks of my screen, so help obtaining a new one would be awesome.

And as always, these actions help too:
  • Ads. I have ads on my page, and yes, I participate in adsense. It's not much, but clicking on them helps a little bit.
  • Sharing my blog. The more people who view a particular page, the more the ads are worth per click. Additionally, I write with the hope that people will read what I write, so I always delight when people read my work and sharing a side of poverty and homelessness people don't always consider.
  • Paypal. Yes, the button literally says "panhandling" and that's pretty much what I'm doing, but online. Click to go directly to my paypal. My priorities are mainly keeping my cell phone bill up to date and it's good to have some help on top of my ABWorks, since that doesn't pay enough to cover most needs. (I have fixed the link now).
  • Hire me as a public speaker on homelessness, housing, culture, discrimination and policy. $100/hr. Email me for more info!
In case you're interested, those are the things I can think of. And thank you all for your concern.

(UPDATE: A great donor has provided me with a new phone, so my bills are the new priority. I have some savings to stay on top of that thanks to some financial help provided, but any help is still appreciated. The page has been modified to reflect that)
